Privacy
Shoe is a private app for one household. Last updated October 3, 2026.
Who can use it
Only people the household has invited. Signing in with any other Google account is turned away, and nothing about that account is kept.
What we get from Google
When you sign in with Google, Shoe receives your name, email address, and profile picture. Shoe uses them only to sign you in and to greet you by name. Shoe doesn't ask for access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts, or anything else in your Google account.
What Shoe stores
The tasks, lists, and notes the household adds, plus your sign-in record. It's stored in the household's own Amazon Web Services account.
What Shoe never does
- Sell, share, or rent your information.
- Show ads or track you across other sites.
- Use your Google data for anything other than signing in.
Removing your data
Ask the household admin and your account and anything you added will be deleted. You can also remove Shoe's access at any time from your Google Account under Security, then Third-party apps.
